Community Service
| Comfort Caps
Help us make special caps for people who have suffered hair loss as a result of their cancer treatments. All caps are donated locally to cancer patients. Cutters and sewers are needed and welcome. Donations of woven and soft knit fabrics (not yellow or green, please) are gratefully accepted for this project which has been so well received. |
| Finger Puppets
During any Sit, Sew and Show, your help is requested to embroider finger puppets for children in our local hospitals. These finger puppets are sure to be a welcome distraction at a difficult time in these children's lives. Check with us for the supplies which you can bring.. |
